When I found myself ejected from working for an overbearing boss, I realized I'd met a lot of CEOs of small companies who needed marketing but couldn't necessarily afford to hire a full time employee. I knew there was a need for press releases, writing and email marketing, and decided this would be my niche.
I founded Egg in 2006, and have been growing it ever since. We have added new services, but focus on a blend of traditional and social PR and marketing.
The biggest challenge is finding and retaining long relationships with clients. Everyone's so price based that it becomes difficult to compete on value.
All my business is conducted online, so having at least the basic technology is a necessity.
Being virtual, the Internet has made my business possible. I enjoy discovering new technology tools that make our work easier. In the future, Egg will continue to grow, using technology as its base for success.
