We also manage the Autodesk Certified Animation Plug-in program for Autodesk, which involves direct interface with a small group of third-party developers around the globe. We assist these developers by bringing their technologies to market. Our online marketplace provides on-demand, 24/7 access to the entire library of royalty-free content for individuals and companies who need to purchase and immediately download it.
To have a rock-solid workstation to use effectively on the road with Autodesk and at tradeshows around the globe. To be completely untethered to a desktop computer and able to do all my 3Ds Max plug-in testing on both 32-bit and 64-bit flavors of software, build installers for the plug-ins, do machine virtualization through VirtualBox, in addition to more mundane tasks like e-mail and document generation.
The Dell Precision Laptops have afforded me the ability to do everything I need to do wherever I am in the world without limitation. Whether it’s demoing the latest 3ds Max plug-ins at a tradeshow, doing heavy software testing or machine virtualization in my office, or simply managing my email when on the road, I am confident that my hardware will be up to the task.
I think it’s safe to say that I’m not planning on buying another desktop system again for work.? With what Dell is currently providing with their Precision line of mobile workstations, I’m going to watch how they evolve to provide me with even more power in the future.
